This morning we scrimmaged a men’s team (I think they were a
futsal team). We beat them 6-4 I think
it was. After the scrimmage, we went to
Jamba Juice, and then came back to the condos to change and shower. A group of us needed to go to immigration
because we still haven’t gotten our Philippine passports. You’re supposed to wear jeans to go to
immigration----so I put on jeans, and then was dying the rest of the day. Jeans + the Philippines do not go well
together. Turns out, we never actually
went inside the immigration office, so the jeans were pointless. So that sucked. Anyway, we all got our paperwork turned in
and our passports are being processed!
Yay! We had lunch at a pizza
place while we were waiting for. The
pizza was actually pretty good and I got a mango chiller to drink (which is
like a mango smoothie with tapioca balls—LOVE tapioca balls! Andi knows. She loves them too). I sent her a picture of my smoothie.
This is the picture I sent to Andi :) |
Once we were done at immigration, we went to
training. Our afternoon trainings are at
a different venue than our morning ones.
Our morning trainings are on turf, and our afternoon ones are on
grass. Training was okay, but again it
was very hot. After training, I was
REQUIRED to get a massage. Needless to
say, I wasn’t complaining about that. But,
our coach requires that everyone get a massage within the first couple days of
getting here. It was awesome. He has massage beds at his house, and three
masseuses came to give me and two other girls massages. They lasted an hour and a half, and felt so
great. I fell asleep for the last 15
minutes (when she was massaging my head).
When the massage was over, we just went back to the condos to go to
sleep.
