Today I had my first training session. It wasn’t terrible, but it seriously is SOO
hot and humid here. I was drenched in
sweat within 5 minutes (all of you without sweating problems would have been
drenched too!)

After training we got Jamba Juice, which is apparently a daily
routine here. We get it for free, so the
team always goes after the morning training session.

Then, we went back to the condos and got
showered and dressed up in our max jerseys from November. After getting clean and changing, we went and
got lunch at Giligan’s. One of my
teammates, Tasha, dad owns all of the Giligan’s restaurants in the
Philippines. It is really good Filipino
food, and the girls told me that they have gone there for almost every lunch
and dinner. There are so many options
though, so people haven’t gotten tired of it yet. After eating we went to the max international
headquarters (one of our sponsors) and we hung out there for a while. Some girls had a TV interview, and the rest
of us just talked to the people who work there and they gave us some free
samples of their products. We took
pictures and went on stage for some fans, then left to watch Tito Ernie’s men’s
team play. He coaches the FC Stallions,
a D1 professional team here. They won
3-2, but I was so tired that I only saw 2 of the 5 goals. I literally passed out on the bleachers for the entire first half. Everyone said I looked
so uncomfortable, but I was so dead that I didn’t feel that way at all. At half time, the whole team was on TV so that was pretty cool. After the game we just went back to the
condos and I fell asleep pretty quickly.
