We had our last training session this morning…all set and
ready for Bangladesh! We had the
afternoon off to pack and had some free time to do whatever we wanted. A group of us went shopping at the Mall of
Asia after lunch. We were there for
about 4 hours. I bought a pair of shorts,
some jewelry, and some souvenirs. That
was by far the biggest mall I have ever been in. By the end, we were all so hot and our feet
were hurting pretty badly. After
shopping, we went to Starbucks while we were waiting for our ride to come. One of the workers there is now quite
possible our biggest fan. For dinner, we
went to the Azkals Café which is just now opening and is owned by Mel (Tasha’s
agent and the guy who designed our track suits). We were given all our jerseys to pack, as
well as two new travel polos and a pretty cool new shirt that says “Live the
Dream Philippine Team”. Off to
Bangladesh in the morning!!
